Before You Begin | Syllabus | Course Navigation | Course Registration Welcome to the A STEP Curriculum online web course.
What you can expect from
this online course: The A STEP Curriculum modules will follow the tutorial based curriculum structure of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Participants in this curriculum will start with a brief fictional case, relate their work with families to the case, identify concerns or problems theyve encountered in working with families, pose questions, access resources provided on the web site and the A STEP faculty through discussion links provided, and reconvene to summarize and resolve the issues in the cases. While each module has specific faculty members identified as primary facilitators, all faculty will participate in the discussions and contribute their expertise. All faculty members will meet with the participants through the links found in the Virtual Conference Center. Up to 18 CME credits may be earned for participating in the curriculum. Completion of each module and its evaluation will allow participants to earn 2 credits. The objectives for the course include: What is expected of participants in this
