what to expect
Las Clinicas Del Norte is committed to our communities' health and safety through the outbreak of Coronavirus (also known as COVID-19). As a precautionary measure, Las Clinicas del Norte will be implementing the following changes:
Please call first BEFORE coming to one of our clinics if you have any concerns about fever, cough, recent travel, or contact with a person who has tested positive for coronavirus. We can help direct your concerns while minimizing the risk of exposing you and other patients to the virus.
- The doors will remain locked at each clinic during business hours to help assess and minimize exposure of COVID-19 to other patients and staff. We are asking patients who have scheduled appointments to call the clinic upon arrival (clinic phone numbers listed below). An employee will greet you at the door. If you do not have access to a mobile phone, please knock on the door.
- Las Clinicas Del Norte will be closely following the New Mexico Department of Health (cv.nmhealth.org) and Centers for Disease Control (www.cdc.gov/coronavirus) guidelines and recommendations. These recommendations are changing almost every day as information becomes available. For that reason, you may find that our recommendations for your care change over time.
While coronavirus is very serious in some patients, most people who get the virus will have a mild illness that they recover from without treatment. The most important thing you can do if you think you may have the virus is to stay at home, avoid contact with other people, and call your health care provider if you feel that your condition is getting worse rather than better.
